| So what. So Microsoft has more systems out there. Every system that they sell they take a loss, while Nintendo makes a profit. Also, just because there are more of one type of one system sold than others doesn't mean that the game to system ratio is all that great. There was a article on gamespot's site about Sony releasing a PS4 in about 4 years, but I doubt that systems are going to start changing as fast as computers any time soon. The gaming companies know that if they start doing that then they are going to lose a lot of customers because people won't keep buying there systems, except for the rich spoiled kids, which is definitely way to small of a market for them to capitalize on it. I bet that Nintendo will start catching up with Microsoft soon and possibly pass them in consoles sells in a couple of years. Competition is good for us. Besides, each system is for a certain type of gamer. The Xbox 360 is for the hardcore gamers, the gamers that like to play pc games(i.e. Oblivion) and those gamers that like shooting/fighting games a lot. The PS3 is for those gamers that love rpgs, amazing graphics, shooters, fighting games and have plenty of money in their pockets. The Wii is more for those relaxed gamers who like to play everything, love playing video games with their friends, the gamers that like to play old games and well established games(i.e. Zelda, Mario) and it is also for those who like a nice cheap price tag. This is all a generalization, but it is what I have noticed in all my years of gaming. Each console has its fans that it needs to keep happy. If they start changing stuff to fast then people will start protesting. Companies like Sony and Microsoft need to make a lot of money on their systems before they will release new systems. They need the money to pay off all of the expenses of the systems and to pay for the both the research and production of the next systems that they make. Wow. What a mouth full.
