| Halo has a pretty cool universe, and the design team has done some great things, but they always seem to make some kind of major screw up that makes the game mediocre. Like in the first game, for every time you had an amazing minute or so running through an area with an incredible view and a decent fight, there were about 3 hours of hallway that looked exactly the same with boring enemies.
Halo 2 was better.. got rid of half of the boring/repetative halways, kept the boring repetative enemies, made more massive fights with better friendly AI, but made the game buggier and only half as long with a completely unsatisfying ending. |
