So the next gen has officaly become the current gen with the release of the
Nintendo Wii that makes one think. Whats next? So whats after the generation of the Wii, Xbox360, and the Playstation 3? What do you think
they should be like?

Well playstation will release playstation 4. Same crap new name.

Nintendo will add even more insanity to the mix creating so much fun you wet yourself when you play.

I actually think that next time Nintendo will focus hardcore on their online element. It's becoming the most important way to play since developers have gotten so angsty about making everyone buy their game. Easier to find four strangers with the same taste in game than four people who are best friends.

No, I think that they will focus on the grathics and gameplay. hardcore man.

They will tweak their current gameplay, but I think the leaps they made with teh new controller wont be quite surpassable by anything more revolutionary in jjust four or five years. Graphics will definitely make a leap, but I don't think Nintendo will go back to trying to compete on a graphical front for another 10 years, at least, if ever again.

I can't imagine what the future will hold. It's all about now to me.

It seems like the 360 and the Wii are doing well so far so maybe you might see some collaboration between the two that would be awesome but I doubt it would happen.

I think that Nintendo might try to further work on the motion sensing with their next system. Two words: Virtual Reality!!! The way Nintendo is going, in a few decades we will be in the video games we are playing. Our slightest motions transfered from our bodies to the game and the games reality transfered to our senses. At least that is my dream. To be able to be the character I am playing as.

Nintendo will find some way to make the games more immersive, and of course support HD, and hopefully better online.
