So here in winnipeg, I thought that not many people knew about it, and I thught I could just waltz into a store and buy one....

I left about 11:00 and I see huge lines in front of stores.... Like oh my gah! Yep. You guessed it. All sold out. The lines already got their numbers...BEFORE the stores are even open(12pm on Sundays)

That's not the only reason I'm pretty sad... There were actually a lot of opportunities i missed. Like if I went to zellers first I probably could have got one.. Or if I waited at Future shop... They had like 30+ units, and when I was there I was pretty sure there wasn't more than 30 there..

*Sigh*.. Oh well. I guess I'll wait with the aussies, and get a Wii when they restock. :( Hopefully.

I had it reserved, so i got it at midnight! but the ironic thing is I had to go to walmart to buy and extra controler and nunchuck and it took about an hour ( luckly they only got 20 in.

Geez. Even all the accessorys were sold out. I was at least hoping to buy the extra wii remote that I was going to buy.... just to play around with it and feel it's weight or whatever.

Man, that sucks that you didn't get one. Hopefully it won't be too long before they get some more in. I know the employee at Walmart said they'd get them in pretty regularly.

I got one in the end, but i had to wait a while and serched around the town. I was very lucky to get one. My friend and me waited for an hour in a 20 person line that took longer because EVERYONE of them was buying the system. but I was worried, their were about 14 people left and they had 12 extra controlers and 6 nunchucks. everwhere else in town was ether sold out or not open.
