A Guide to Rep

I told Dave not to put this in, but oh well.

You might notice that green or gray square under how many thanks you have gotten. Well, that's reputation. You need 10 Rep points to make it turn green. You get it by having people rep you.

Green=Good
Gray=Neutral
Red=Bad

You can rep people by clicking on the icon next to the report post button.

You an check you're saying by going over the square, and check who repped you in your User CP (At least that's how it should be). When repping someone it should say (after you clicked the icon)

Q:What are they for?
A: Bragging Rights. Plain and Simple.

Q:Do they do anything else?
A:Not at my other forums, but maybe Dave has a plan for em.

Q:Why do some people have Green and not Me?
A:They might have gotten repped and not you.
EDIT: For some reason people have Green and others don't. This is strange as no one could've repped almost everyone overnight. I'm not too sure on that though.

Q:How many times can you rep in a day?
A:Depends how many rep points you have.

Q:Can I keep repping the same person?
A:No, you need to give it to others before you can rep the same person again.

Q:Someone repped me but i have no rep points. Why?
A:If someone with gray rep reps you, they have no rep to give, so you get none.

Q:How does it look in User CP?
A:We have no skin, but it will look like this.

It should say the name, but it's not. :/

Q:How many reps will that box store?
A:The last five you recieved.

Q:Do the others get deleted?
A:From the history, but the points stay with you.

Q:lol Rep sounds like Rape.
A:Shut up.

I wasn't going to put it on, but I don't see whats wrong with it. If people abuse it, I'll simply turn it off.

By the way Toasty, you may have noticed people who have black reputation squares, this means they have disabled their reputation.The only people that can disable their rep are Elites, Mods and Admins.And even if your reputation has been disabled you can still give and recieve rep, it just can't be seen by other members on the forums.
