I didn't mind it, but I guess I'm still embittered about the Subspace Emissary. After I played that, I had to go buy a thesaurus to adequately describe the myriad ways in which I felt saddened and betrayed.

So do you think old Cammie Dunaway ever looks for post about her in these forums? Do you think she reads all these mean things we say about her and cries herself to sleep on her greesy lip pillow?

I hope she does, and then I hope she dies...

Just kidding about the die part.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. It isn't just some cheap cash-in attempt by Nintendo, it's Smash Bros. The game, that is. Subspace Emissary is like an extended Adventure mode.

Who in the hell, when asked what core gamers can expect, tells core gamers to start playing casual games?

Meh. She announced a few good games. Pokemon, among others.

I think Cammie Dunaway is sweet and very pretty. She will change Gaming forever for casual girl gamers like myself!

She's old. And she makes it hard for people to take hardcore girl gamers seriously. :/

I heard this from someone else on another forum, but I think it opens the biggest can of worms when it comes to the definition of "hardcore". Please note that I elaborated a little bit, but this still isn't my original statement:

Games like SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, GTA IV, Soul Calibur IV, Gran Turismo 5, etc. are most likely too intense or complex to play for the "casual" gamers. To the "hardcore" players, these are very fitting. In reality, these games are the opposite of hardcore because they are very mainstream and popular. "Hardcore" gamers play games that are rare, not very popular, obscure, and underrated.
