I find both perspectives very wrong and disappointing. I know a lot of anti-homosexual people who aren't religious at all.
It is true, homosexuality is up to the person. But is having a different perspective so bad? Is someone inherently evil simply because they don't approve of it? The fact is, that whether you support it or not, it is neither your place to call it wrong or right; nor is it your place to tell others that their system of beliefs are stupid. In that sense, you are just as bad as those church hoppers you dislike so much. It takes two people to have a controversy. If someone doesn't agree with you and vocalizes it, you have the choice of accepting that different people have different opinions, or getting your hackles up about it. Both anti and pro homosexuality people are to blame for this being such a taboo issue: those who find it offensive, and those who take offense to it.
